About one-third of MEND’s apartment portfolio has been designed and constructed for senior citizens.
All of our existing properties for senior citizens contain a combination of studio and one-bedroom apartments. Amenities typically include barrier-free entry, wall-to-wall carpeting, modern appliances, air-conditioning and on-site laundry rooms.
MEND’s housing sites for
senior citizens include:
Boyce M. Adams Apartments, Moorestown
Named after MEND founder and long-time chairman, Boyce M. Adams, this quaint property located on Main Street was formerly a municipal fire house.
Lenola School, Moorestown
The former Lenola Grammar School was acquired by MEND from the Board of Education and completely renovated for residential use. Its park-like setting and community room with baby grand piano make this a desirable place to call home.
Linden Place, Moorestown
Located in a quiet neighborhood with a nearby community park that includes tennis courts and a children’s playground, this building is a perfect location for visitors and grandchildren. Amenities include an elevator chair lift.
Moorestown Court, Moorestown
This beautiful structure close to downtown was formerly a municipal court and police station. There is a charming garden patio behind the building.
Teaberry Run, Moorestown
This development is a HUD Section 8 subsidized housing complex. Because of the consistently strong demand for apartments at this property, the Teaberry Run waiting list is presently closed.
